Laboratory of Mechanics and Advanced Energy Systems
The Laboratory of Mechanics and Advanced Energy Systems was created by Ministerial Order No. 205 of 27th April 2021 from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and belongs to the Mechanical Engineering Department
The overall aim of the Laboratory is to build the foundations for fundamental and applied research, training of doctoral students for capacity building by being aligned with the research objectives of the School and the National Research Program.
He main existing research activities are multidisciplinary, interactive and complementary, they are inspired by four themes of research and embodied into four RESEARCH TEAMS:

Mechanics of New and Advanced Materials
The primary objective of the Research Team in Advanced Materials Mechanics (MMA) is to develop both fundamental and applied knowledge to design, model, machine, and characterize advanced materials, with the aim of enhancing their mechanical performance and durability in complex environments.
